5 Daily Questions That Lead to Purpose and Transformation

Life Transformation is a reflection of change and difference in our lives.

Romans 12:2 says “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

The PATH to transformation is our daily commitment and willingness to be transparent with ourselves. The PROCESS of transformation begins with asking ourselves hard truths. Starting with:

“Do I renew my mind by waking up each day with the intention (mental renewal) + action (transformation) to pursue the patterns that lead to healing, wholeness(purpose)?

Or

Does my life (or multiple areas of my life) reflect that I am living as a hostage to outdated generational patterns that are holding me back from living the life that I desire and the life that I am destined to live?

I know your mental struggle. I’ve been in the thick of the struggle. I coach clients weekly who are in the midst of the struggle. The struggle between hurting and hoping.

What I’ve personally learned and experienced with my clients is that the renewing of our mind is BOTH (and equally) the act of learning new thoughts, becoming aware of deeper emotions, and being curious, conscientious explorers AND releasing past and present judgement, removing blocks to access our emotions, and reframing old thought patterns.

Transformation is the process of letting go of the same old, same old wounded, subconscious responses to life. It’s learning how and being equipped to respond to life in the present and not from the past.

Simply put, renewing our mind is a daily commitment to being out with the old and in with the new. It’s releasing our old limiting beliefs and patterns in order to receive God’s infinite blessings and walk in the purpose that He has designed for YOU!

Retraining your brain to let go of your childhood responses to rejection and other deep hurts requires a desire to transform, aligned support, and committed action.

Here are 5 questions to ask yourself daily to track your PURPOSEFULL transformation:

1. What is my purpose for today? Meditate, Listen, and Trust that the Spirit will align your daily activities with God’s bigger plan. Let your mind flow freely and allow God to speak into your life to show you who He desires for you to be and do today. It could be something related to your work, your home, your relationships, your healing, or your finances. Once you hear clearly, be open to opportunities that will be presented to you to help you fulfill your purpose.

2. If I were to make just one change in my thought life today to help me fulfill my purpose, what would it be? Your answer to this question will really open up your possibilities to make changes by identifying the baby step that you can commit to achieving today. Getting a small win will help you gain momentum and support for the harder decisions that will come with your progress.

3. What would I need to get rid of or stop doing that is not in alignment with my purpose for today? If you’re discovering that you spend time on things that you don’t love or things that don’t allow you to engage in your purpose, it’s time to declutter. When you commit to living your life on purpose, you outgrow the baggage that you’ve been carrying along with you. It's time to let go of the things that no loner fit the Purposely MADE woman you are becoming!

4. What’s missing from my life that would hinder me from easily fulfilling my purpose today? Answering this question requires considerable soul-searching. You may find that you feel stagnant and stuck right where you are because you haven’t identified what help you need to ask for. You must identify what you need so that the need can actually be met.

5. What resources, tools (mental/emotional), people do I have to support me in fulfilling my purpose today? It’s wise to know the resources and people that will stand behind you and help you pursue your passions, no matter what. Transformation and the consistent renewal of the mind require a specific environment of like-minded and supportive people. It takes a community to sustain change that moves you forward and further along your purpose journey. Use discernment and stay open to the blessings that will come your way in the form of emotional, mental, and spiritual support.

Let's do the good work to continue transforming into all of the Woman God MADE you to be!
